DTA works closely with Dementia Support Australia and Dementia Australia. We are a network of dementia specialists, who collaboratively provide education, training, advocacy and support for all Australians impacted by dementia – those who live with dementia, their families, and those whose work relates to their care.

Dementia Support Australia (DSA)

Providing help 24/7, 365 days a year across Australia for carers of people living with dementia where behaviours are impacting on care.

Dementia Support Australia provides three levels of support:

  1. Dementia Behaviour Management Advisory Service (DBMAS)
  2. Severe Behaviour Response Teams (SBRT)
  3. Needs Based Assessment Program (NBA)

Dementia Training Australia (DTA)

Dementia Training Australia provides dementia-specific accredited and non-accredited education, training, and professional development for aged and health care professionals.

Our mission is to improve the knowledge and skills of the workforce who are involved in supporting people living with dementia and their carers. We focus on evidence-based standards in the development and delivery of practical education and learning pathways for individuals and organisations.
