Prerequisites
Before undertaking this module you will need to complete the following:
This module explains delirium and how it presents in people with and without dementia in the acute care setting.
We explore risk factors for delirium and compare delirium and dementia.
We look at some tools for identifying delirium and use video scenarios showing cognitive interviews to establish if delirium is present in patients with and without dementia.
